The one-piece valve body and bore on the DSR is designed for dead-end service, up to full ANSI line pressures.

Dual Seat Design
Viton O-ring seals are embedded into the valve body, away from abrasive flow, providing dependable 'bubble tight' shut-off.
Additionally, the gate to body interface forms a metal-to-metal seating surface, delivering the final safeguard by ensuring closure is achieved, every time.
Standard Oreacle Features
The heavy-duty valve body is custom fabricated to form a one-piece unit. The result is a robust 'unibody' design, which is engineered for severe service applications.
The bore matches the pipe I.D. exactly. Flow passes through without interruption, minimizing turbulence and erosion to the valve and downstream piping.
A multi-piece clevis disassembles quickly and is bolted directly onto the gate. This unique design simplifies field service and allows clients to easily change the actuator type.
The gate lockout (for open/close) is centered within the yoke and is engineered to withstand the actuator's
, without bending the 17.4PH SS pin.

Oreacle DSR knife gate valves can be ordered with any of the following optional upgrades.
Teflon Body Coating
If our marine grade 2-part epoxy is not sufficient, Oreacle valves can be specified with a Teflon coating.
ENC BOdy Coating
Oreacle valve bodies can also be nickel alloy plated via an Electroless Nickel Coating (ENC) process.
17-4PH (H900) Gate
Upgrade the standard DSR gate from 304 SS to 17.4Ph (H900) SS for greater strength and process compatibility.
Gate Tip Hard Overlay
If erosion of the gate tip is of concern, a welded hard overlay can be applied to that area.
Seat Face Hard Overlay
To prolong the benefits of our metal-to-metal seat design, consider adding a welded hard overlay to the seating surfaces.
Full Bore Hard Overlay
The entire valve bore I.D. can be welded with a hard overlay, providing superior protection against abrasive slurry.
Inlet Wear Rings
To further increase service life, a replaceable and rotatable inlet wear ring can be incorporated into the DSR design.
Integral Flush Ports
Applications with highly viscous fluids may benefit from periodic flushing through strategically located flush ports.
